Jun Li is an IATSE Local 600 Camera/Steadicam Operator and Active SOC member. He holds both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Cinematography.

For over a decade, working as a Camera Operator, Jun is known for his intuitive camera movement and strong visual instincts; he specializes in crafting expressive and purposeful imagery that enhances storytelling and communicates narrative rhythm with precision and emotional impact. He approaches every project with the belief that the camera should serve the story, creating immersive, dynamic, and emotionally engaging cinematic experiences that connect audiences to the heart of the work.

His strong technical foundation and extensive experience operating Steadicam, Trinity, handheld, or Technocrane have enabled him to collaborate with talented directors, cinematographers, crews, and casts from around the world. Beyond the camera department, Jun works closely with Grip teams, Crane/Arm Car Crews, Stunts, Art department, and Assistant Directors, helping bridge creative vision with technical execution. His collaborative approach, clear communication, and strong on-set decision-making contribute to the successful realization of complex and ambitious productions. These experiences have reinforced his reputation as a dedicated team player who understands that exceptional filmmaking is built upon trust, communication, and collaboration across every film set.

Jun loves cooking, gardening, outdoor activities, and enjoying good tea. He lives in Burbank, the historical movie town, with his wife and two emotional tabby cats.
